Superbike Imola: the Team Italia project continues successfully

Infront Motor Sports, the Italian Motorcycle Federation and Pirelli today renewed their commitment to supporting Team Italia, a team that has the precise aim of supporting the young promises of Italian motorcycling by helping them race in the main Italian and international championships.

Paolo Flammini, CEO of Infront: “we want to do everything possible to help the most promising young Italians to grow and race in increasingly important categories. Thanks to the union of Infront, the Federation and Pirelli we are building something very important and positive."

Paolo Sesti, FIM President: “this is a project that we have been carrying out for a few years and we are starting to see the first good results; Team Barni and Team Trasimeno are helping us a lot but without the help of Infront and Pirelli it would have been really difficult to achieve all this."

Giorgio Barbier, head of Pirelli motorbike sporting activities: “when trying to carry out this type of project it is very difficult not to make mistakes; you have to start from the bottom and follow them for a long time, they must not be spot events. Now we are progressing well and we want to continue on this path."

This year Lorenzo Savadori ed Eddie Lamarra will race in the Stock 1000 – FIM Cup while Richard Russo e Luca Vitali they will be protagonists of the Stock 600 – European Championship.
