Superbike Imola: it's Friday morning, free practice time
Ayrton Badovini ahead of everyone but the gaps are minimal
A Imola the engines started and the second round of the Superbike world championship has officially begun.
In the free practices that ended just now, Ayrton Badovini with his Team Motorrad Italia BMW he recorded the best time, stopping the time at 1.49.081, followed by Guintoli, Checa, Sykes, Biaggi, Smrz, Zanetti, Melandri and Rea.
In this first session the teams worked to fine-tune the bikes; it is therefore to be expected that in the first qualifying sessions, which will start at 15.30 pm, things may change, even significantly.
