Superbike Germany: Davies again in second qualifying

The second and final qualifying session at the Nürburgring also ended in the name of Chaz Davies' BMW S1000 RR. The English rider immediately appeared in great shape and unapproachable for his opponents, above all the world championship leader Sylvain Guintoli, who attempted to undermine him in the last minutes without however succeeding.
Big surprise at Kawasaki with Loris Baz third, keeping behind his highly favored teammate Tom Sykes only sixth.
Good fourth place for Davide Giugliano on Aprilia Althea, followed by Johnny Rea's Honda Pata.
Marco Melandri's BMW is still struggling, as is Eugene Lavery's official RSV4, which has so far appeared quite colorless.
Leon Camier's Suzuki was ninth ahead of Ayrton Badovini's Ducati Alstare, victim of a harmless fall towards the end of the session.
Michel Fabrizio, in great shape yesterday, slips back, while the difficulties of Leon Haslam, twelfth, are confirmed.
Finally, Carlos Checa was only eighteenth, constantly far from the times of the leaders and among other things criticized without too many words by manager Francesco Batta at the end of the tests.
