The third and final free practice session valid for access to the Tissot-Superpole saw Chaz Davies set the best time again, this time just ahead of Jonathan Rea, who slots in between the two Panigales, with Xavier Fores excellent third .

At the MotorLand Aragon in Alcaniz, the Welsh driver stopped the clock at a time of 1'50.934, preceding the leader of the world championship standings by just 80 thousandths of a second.

The two Aprilias made a great recovery, with Leon Haslam stopping the clocks in fourth place, ahead of Jordi Torres, while Tom Sykes was a little behind on the performance of yesterday's two sessions.

Behind the KRT rider we find two other rookies Nico Terol and Michael van der Mark, then David Salom and Leandro Mercado (Barni Racing Team Ducati), tenth: these top ten directly access the second heat of the Tissot-Superpole, scheduled starting from 15pm :25 this afternoon.

Instead, they will have to face the first heat, surprisingly the reigning World Champion Sylvain Guintoli, 11th, who is still struggling with the 4-cylinder Honda of his CBR Fireblade and the British Alex Lowes, twelfth, who is unable to confirm yesterday's good performances : we'll see if they can redeem themselves in a few hours.

The performance of Ayrton Badovini is a sign, thirteenth and in great shape on his debut with the BMW Motorrad Italia team replacing Sylvain Barrier.

Appointment at 15pm with the first heat of the Tissot-Superpole.
