Jules Cluzel scores the third victory of the season in Brno, in the seventh round of the Supersport World Championship: the French rider takes back the top step of the podium from Sandro Cortese, who had taken it away from him two weeks ago at Donington.

The two riders were the protagonists of a very exciting duel in the second part of the race: this time it was Jules Cluzel (NRT) who prevailed, now just two points behind Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing) in the standings. .

Cluzel took the lead when the traffic lights went out, taking advantage of a slow start from Cortese: the two took turns at the head of the group with Raffaele De Rosa, third but further behind with his MV Agusta, acting as a spectator.
Although Cortese had a better pace and was practically close to his rival, he was unable to find the moment to attack until the last lap: at Turn 3, however, the German driver ran wide and this allowed Cluzel to get back in front in Turn 4 and cross the finish line first.

Behind them Raffaele De Rosa completed his fourth podium of the season, and Luca Mahias (GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team) took fourth position from Krummenacher at the end.

Sixth place for Thomas Gradinger (NRT), his best result of the season, seventh for Anthony West (EAB antwest Racing) followed by Kyle Smith (CIA Landlord Insurance Honda), Eerneli Lahti (Sterkman Motorsport by HRP) and Loris Cresson (Kallio Racing Yamaha) who achieved their first top 10 of the season.

Federico Caricasulo (GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team) retired for the second time this season, crashing in Turn 8.

The Supersport World Championship will return to the track in less than a month in Misano, from 6 to 8 July, given that traditionally only WorldSuperbike competes in Laguna Seca, where it will be raced in two weeks.
