SBK Test Jerez Yamaha – With just 24 hours to go until the end of the 2023 season, six-time World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea entered the Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK garage for the first time to meet his Yamaha R1 WorldSBK #65, characterized by a special gray colour, white and carbon. “It was an incredible first day and it was so surreal wearing my Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK polo shirt – the feeling in blue is really nice – and when I entered the garage, everyone was so excited. I immediately felt so much love and support - the attention to detail in the team is amazing. Even in my pilot office, which already had custom logos, down to the perfect fit on the bike - the attention to detail in this process was incredible. I can't wait to do my first laps on the R1. It's a bike that I've seen up close on the track but that I've never had the opportunity to ride, so for tomorrow the main idea is to get comfortable on the bike, to understand my team, for them to understand me and , of course, to learn and have a positive outcome. We have a lot of time from here to Phillip Island, but first impressions are always important and today was really good.
