SBK Test Jerez 2024 Day 2 – Remy Gardner was also the fastest on the second day of 2024 testing at the Jerez circuit.

After the adverse weather on Day 1, the second day went a little better. Most of the drivers took to the track only after 12pm.

At the end of the day the fastest was Remy Gardner who, aboard the GRT team Yamaha, set the clock in 1'38.448 and was two tenths away from the all-time record and below Bautista's pole on Saturday.

Just over three tenths behind, an excellent second time for Nicolò Bulega, on his second day astride the Aruba team Ducati. The Italian rider is followed in the wake of Jonathan Rea on the Yamaha.

Alex Lowes on the Kawasaki finished fourth, ahead of an excellent Andrea Iannone and Michael Rinaldi.

Alvaro Bautista, on track with some new regulations for 2024 including the "ballast", finished seventh fastest, ahead of Bradley Ray and Dominique Aegerter. Scott Redding completes the top ten.

Axel Bassani closes out of the 10 on his second day on the Kawasaki, thirteenth.
