SBK | Misano GP Race 2: Rinaldi, “The regret is great”

SBK GP Misano Ducati – Michael Rinaldi slipped during race 2 of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, fifth stage of the 2023 World Championship.

Rinaldi finished third in the Superpole Race and in Race-2 he was the protagonist of a good duel with Razgatlioglu. With six laps to go, however, the Italian driver makes a small mistake which compromises his race.

“The regret is great and there is no denying it, but in terms of performance it was a very positive weekend. In Race-2 the feeling wasn't the same as on Saturday but I still managed to stay firmly in the podium area with a big advantage over my pursuers. The fall? Toprak braked hard, I was sucked into his wake. The combination of these two factors led me to make a mistake. It's a shame but I'm leaving this round with great confidence."
