SBK GP Assen Kawasaki – Alex Lowes finished Race 2 of the Dutch Grand Prix, third stage of the 2023 World Championship, in ninth position.

The Kawasaki rider was forced to start from the back of the grid after making a mistake on the warm-up lap, but recovered to the top ten.

“This weekend went a little better and when we have grip on the bike we can be quite fast. The Superpole Race went quite well because I was one of the few who could stay with the top three. The eight-lap race was a little shorter than normal. The pace was fast and I felt good at the limit. Everyone is driving at the limit. I lost the front on the reconnaissance lap before race two. Starting from the back of the grid would have been tough, but my pace had improved slightly after making some changes to the bike. I managed to maintain grip on the front tire for five or six more laps and I was faster than the day before."
