SBK Test Jerez 2024 – A few days after the end of the 2023 season, with the victory of the title by Alvaro Bautista, the Superbike world championship is already projected into 2024, with winter testing starting on the Jerez circuit on 31 October.

These will be very important tests for almost all the riders. Alvaro Bautista is looking for confirmation after the regulatory change which provides for smaller tanks and a minimum rider-bike weight. Alongside him there will be the SBK debut of Nicolò Bulega who, after dominating in SSP, will test the Aruba team's V4 for the first time.

In Jerez, Jonathan Rea will take to the track for the first time dressed in blue and, after nine seasons with Kawasaki, is preparing to make his debut with the Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK team. On the seat vacated by the British rider we will find Axel Bassani who, after having won the title of best independent rider, is ready to move to an official team and get on the ZX-10RR for the first time. Among the market's protagonists is also Michael Rinaldi who, after losing the saddle of the official Ducati, will compete in 2024 on the Motocorsa team's Ducati and will have his first opportunity to get to know the team in Jerez.

Andrea Iannone will also be on the Andalusian circuit who, having served his 4-year disqualification, will get on the Panigale V4 R of Team GoEleven. Notably absent however will be Toprak Razgatlioglu who did not receive the OK from Yamaha to test the BMW before December.

After the tests from 31 October - 1 November, the series derivatives will often return to the track to best prepare for the 2024 season, in particular:

22-23 November – Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto

4 December – Autodromo Internacional do Algarve

5-6 December – Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto

24-25 January – Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto

29-30 January – Autodromo Internacional do Algarve

February 19-20 – Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit
