“Today's work was entirely dedicated to finding the most suitable tires for the characteristics of this track. Therefore, maintaining a "standard" setting of the bike, we did not intervene on the geometry and suspension, while we tested various tyres. We have therefore highlighted a front and a rear tire that appear to be effective in these asphalt and temperature conditions, which are also similar to Sepang. There is therefore ample room for improvement, because the grip on the track, lap after lap, is noticeably improving and also because after this first phase of work on the tires tomorrow we will also refine the setting of the bike."

“Since this morning the grip of the track has already improved significantly, especially in the trajectories. Outside the ideal lines things get a little complicated and you have to be careful. The choice of tires will be fundamental, paying close attention to the temperatures, given that the heat here is worse than Sepang, and to the grip conditions of the track which is constantly improving. I like the track, the optimal lines are easy to find, and the whole track is nice to ride. Now we need to refine the bike's set-up and tomorrow we'll see if the grip will be further improved."
