Niccolò Canepa returns to SuperStock

Niccolò Canepa, this year in Moto2 and previously in MotoGP as well as a Ducati test rider, will race in Superstock 1000 in the coming seasons with the Kawasaki of Team Go Eleven. In MotoGP perhaps more was expected from the Genoese rider but above all 2010 in Moto2 was below expectations. The goal is to win SuperStock and then relaunch in Superbike. Here are his words.

“The Go Eleven project won me over, everyone is very enthusiastic and everyone wants to do well. I decided to return to Superstock, despite having received offers to stay in Moto2 and despite the fact that the 2010 season was affected by the team's budget problems. I think this is the right environment to relaunch my career and as soon as possible get to the Superbike World Championship, my 'first love' and where I made my debut, when I was a Ducati test rider. I believe this team has the right structure and personnel to work well on the new Kawasaki.”
