MotoGP: Valentino Rossi “Yesterday was an important test”
The Pesaro native worked on the new chassis, electronics and tyres
di Alessio Brunori6 May, 2014
It's a satisfied Valentino Rossi who talks about the day of post-GP testing carried out yesterday in Jerez de la Frontera. The Yamaha rider continued to work on the new chassis already brought to the track on Friday and on the tyres, this in anticipation of the French Grand Prix, scheduled for May 18th.
“It was an important test, I was fast both in terms of pace and lap time – Rossi told the official MotoGP website – We worked on the electronics to have more power in acceleration and on small details of the chassis, in order to improve corner entry. With the new chassis I feel a little better, so I will also use it at Le Mans.”

Good news, surely both Vale and Jorge (sperein) will be able to get closer to the Hondas and give us some more excitement.
Honda developments and riders permitting ;-)
I say it in a very low voice and through gritted teeth but...
even though the championship has just started, (everything could still turn in favor or against anyone) perhaps, given that the wall is no longer there... Jorge would do well to take a look at the telemetry and how the "second rider" sets up the bike ” Yamaha.
Happy for Vale's season (which has just started) and, as already said, even if he doesn't win anything anymore I like to see him on the track with determination but... I'm sorry for Jorge.
I don't have the slightest doubt about his value on the track but this year he started badly..., I hope he hasn't had a psychological breakdown, it would be a shame.
