MotoGP – Valentino Rossi: "Pedrosa and I will fight throughout 2007"
It couldn't be otherwise. Valentino Rossi against Daniel Pedrosa, the 2007 duel saw the light yesterday in the "Qualifying" session of the IRTA Tests in Jerez, with the two motorcycling champions (they have a total of 10 world titles) fighting on the edge of thousandths to win the BMW Z4 M Coupe up for grabs. A splendid battle that thrilled the 30.000 people present in Jerez and the millions of spectators in front of the television screens, with the prospect that this 2007 will be nothing other than a Rossi Vs Pedrosa duel. Valentino himself thinks this way, having already anticipated the 2007 plot in the meeting with journalists after the last day of testing...
“It was a good battle between me and Pedrosa”, sincere Valentino Rossi. “We gave our all, no one held back and this time I prevailed. He is very competitive on a single lap, he has always won in Jerez and last year in his MotoGP debut he got on the podium. I believe that our duel will continue throughout 2007..."
