Valentino Rossi arrives at Aragon (fourteenth stage of the 2013 world championship) with more confidence after the recent post-GP tests in Misano. The nine-time Yamaha world champion has in fact improved several aspects of his YZR-M1 and can't wait to get on the track to compete with the Spanish trio of Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Marquez. He has the microphone.

“After carrying out some tests I am always curious about getting to the next race. We improved several aspects (in Misano, ed.) so I want to see we can make a further step forward in the race. My goal is always to fight with Jorge (Lorenzo, ed.), Dani (Pedrosa, ed.) and Marc (Marquez, ed.). In the last tests carried out in Aragon together with Jorge I had good chronometric results. The bike worked well so we are looking forward to racing on this circuit.”

sure..as is also the goal of Petrucci, Smith,Pesek, Starring, Dovizioso, Hayden, hernandez and all the others..but neither you nor they are capable of it...but unlike them YOU have the means to do it but not you succeed because you're not as fast as you used to be and it's always a BLOWN AWAY...

Well done, you said it right, it's not as fast as it used to be, because the vehicle is there but the rubber isn't and it's always a BEAT!
      Ahahah!

What do all those who say that Valentino has admitted several times the skill and superiority of his opponents (Lorenzo, Marquez, Pedrosa) and that he is aware of not being able to match the performances of his opponents because they are "stronger" think?

There is nothing to be done, Vale is giving his all and in order not to have to clearly admit that he is not up to par with his opponents, he needs to justify his past performances, with "miraculous findings" proven in the latest tests (but they are not the same things said in the previous tests?), continuing to cultivate hope in the fans.

Vale's father wants to beat her up about his son's alleged difficulties in becoming competitive again due to the "f... motorbike" he has been riding in the last 2 years.
Valentino Rossi is no longer at a high level, the sooner we face reality, the better, otherwise the "blow" risks being very LOUD.

In 2014, when Espargaro (among others) will have the same bike that Vale has now, but with more powerful engines and increased consumption (did I understand correctly what should happen in 2014 in the team in which Espargaro will race?), it risks being Vale to act as a "stopper" for Spanish, the opposite of what Jeremy Burgess claims in a "hallucinatory" interview on MCN, reported in another discussion here.
