MotoGP Valencia: Nicky Hayden “We need to improve braking and cornering”
Last race on the Ducati for the American
This one in Valencia will be Nicky Hayden's last race on the Ducati. The American will in fact be riding the new Honda RCV1000R Production Racer from Monday, but he would like to leave a good memory for his team. The word is up to him.
“The track asphalt has remained in good condition since last year and is still beautiful. This afternoon, however, the wind made life a little difficult for us, but it was the same for everyone. Our first two rides in the morning weren't bad, but since then neither the bike nor I have managed to improve much. In the second and third split I'm doing quite well, while I have some problems in the first and last. In order to gain some positions on the grid for Sunday's race we need to improve our braking and cornering.”
