MotoGP – The Ducati grandstand not only at MugelloMotoGP – The Ducati grandstand not only at Mugello

Tickets for the Grandstand at Mugello are on sale from today, the first Italian appointment with the Ducati Grandstand which this year will also be organized abroad in seven other stages of the world championship. In light of the success achieved by this activity organized during Italian races since 2003, Ducati has decided to export the same formula and set up the Ducati Grandstand also on the occasion of some of the stages of the MotoGP circuit, which will take place abroad. It will therefore be possible to follow your favorites among the official fans, as well as in the Italian races of Mugello and Misano, also from the stands of the European circuits of Le Mans, Sachsenring, and Valencia, as well as overseas, at Laguna Seca and Indianapolis (USA ), Philip Island (Australia) and Motegi (Japan).

On 1 June 2008, the Ducati MotoGP Team will take to the track, more fierce and combative than ever, to contest the first of the two Italian rounds of the MotoGP World Championship, on the Mugello circuit, one of the temples of world motorcycling.

Last year more than 3000 Ducati fans had the privilege of watching the qualifying tests and the race from one of the most spectacular points of the Tuscan track: the Correntaio curve, which has now become the heart of the Ducati fans, known by all for the proverbial choreographies that have entered the annals of Ducati history.

This year too, Ducati offers its enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the great emotions of the Mugello GP live, surrounded by "other passionate fans"; ticket holders will in fact be able to be part of the official fans, who have colored the circuit red in past years, always animated by the passion for the Borgo Panigale racing cars. The choreography and entertainment activities in the stands will be coordinated, as per tradition, by the Desmodromiclub of Rome.

In addition to being able to watch the race of your two-wheeled legend in one of the strategic points of the circuit, the renowned Correntaio bend, the ticket will entitle you to a kit made up of exclusive gadgets. A 33mXNUMX giant screen will also be located in front of the curve, to show what is happening at any moment. Last but not least, the convenience of reserved parking for your motorbike and a free cloakroom service.

The ticket will be valid for the qualifying tests which will be held on 30 and 31 May 2008, and for the race on Sunday 1 June. In addition to access to the Ducati Grandstand (free unnumbered seats), it gives the right to access all the lawn areas inside the racetrack. The recommended racetrack entrance to access the grandstand is the Provincial Pedestrian entrance (located next to the Palagio entrance).

The novelty this year is represented by the possibility of booking tickets well in advance, at a special price; in fact, those who purchase tickets through the official Ducati Stores between March 19th and April 15th will pay a cost of 190 Euros, while from April 16th onwards (subject to availability of tickets), the cost will be equal to 220 Euros and the tickets will be sold only on the website www.ducati.com.

Further information and updates will be available on the official company website http://www.ducati.com/it/news/08/news007/news007.jhtml and on those of the Ducati branches involved in the project.
