MotoGP Test Valencia Day 2: Nicky Hayden “Exciting to change team and bike”

Nicky Hayden has reset his helmet as it says (see photo of Alessandro Giberti) the last years spent at Ducati. The American actually got on the new Honda RCV1000R Production Racer of Team Aspar for the first time, completing 76 laps of the Valencia track. The first contact was positive and even though he knows there will be work to do, he is satisfied with his choice. The word is up to him.

“It was exciting to work with a new team and a new bike. It's a new new project and there's a long way to go, but that's what makes it so interesting. I really enjoyed my first contact with the motorbike. There's a lot to learn but I'm really happy with my first shakedown. The team helped me a lot and there were a lot of engineers around me. There is a lot of work to do but the foundation is solid. We couldn't ask for better conditions today. It would have been nice to go faster, but overall we are happy. “
