MotoGP – Sepang Test Day 3 – Capirossi feels… at home!

Valencia, Sepang, Phillip Island, more Sepang. Four tests, two months or a little less, yet Loris Capirossi already feels like one of the "family" at Suzuki, forgetting five years spent at Ducati. Fueled and motivated as never before, the driver from Borgo Rivola was very active in these three days of testing in Malaysia, setting impressive lap times with the race tires, leaving out the Bridgestone qualifying tyres. The times are not important to the sensation at Rizla Suzuki: for the moment they are, rightly, satisfied with a happy prospect in the standings, where Capirossi (as well as his team-mate Vermeulen) would already be close to the podium.

“This was only the fourth test for me with this bike, but for me it's as if I've been riding it for a long time and I'm now part of the family!”, sincere Loris Capirossi. “We worked on both the positive and negative aspects of the bike: braking is exceptional, we need to settle on the pace a bit and then we're really good. Now we're going to Phillip Island which has historically been a difficult track for Suzuki, so it will be a good test for this pre-season. I am convinced that with the updates to the house we can make a further leap in quality and truly be in the top positions".
