MotoGP: Sepang Test Day 3, Aleix Espargarò “I'm leaving Sepang with a lot of satisfaction”
The 2013 CRT world champion set an amazing time
Aleix Espargarò was one of the great protagonists of the Sepang Tests. The Spanish Forward Racing rider in fact brought his Yamaha FTR Open close to the top positions, gaining the fourth time just 465 thousandths of a second from the new track record set by his compatriot Marc Marquez. The 2013 champion of the CRT class therefore clearly wins the comparison with the other Open bikes (Honda RCV1000R and Ducati), even coming close to the officials. The word is up to him.
“We started at the right pace and I leave Sepang very happy with the bike and the team. Today we did a long run to learn more about how the electronics work, because we struggle a lot in the second part of the race. We definitely need to improve this point, but I'm confident because compared to the last tests in Valencia the electronics have improved significantly. The feeling with the team is very good and I couldn't expect a better result than today."

Sometimes I think back to how years ago he rode a Ducati.
He is expressing himself late, perhaps because he has never had the chance to really show off, but first with the CRTs, now with the Open he is showing that he is a "gentleman" driver, trailing his direct rivals by an enormous amount.
