MotoGP | Sepang Test Day 1: Zarco, “Good feeling from the first lap”

MotoGP 2022 Sepang Ducati Pramac Test – Moderate satisfaction in Ducati Pramac for the performances of Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin on the first day of MotoGP pre-season testing on the Sepang track in Malaysia.

At the end of the first work session on the track with the new GP22, both riders promoted the feeling with the bike with flying colours, gathering positive indications in view of tomorrow.

Zarco, protagonist of 47 laps, closed today's session in fifth place, while Martin (49 laps) did not go beyond 17th place, even if he did not try a real time-attack with the softer tire

“I had a good feeling straight away, I managed to be fast all day. In the afternoon we improved, I became more aware of the bike and I finished in the top five. Tomorrow will be another important day to try new solutions."

“I am satisfied with this first day of testing, the first day after the winter break is not always easy but we are working hard. I started very well this morning then struggled a little more in the afternoon due to the high temperatures. I'm sure we will improve tomorrow."
