MotoGP – Sepang Test Day 1 – Nicky Hayden works to eliminate chattering

Nicky Hayden worked on the setup of his Ducati Desmosedici GP11 on this first day of testing in Sepang. The aim was to reduce chattering and despite a minor crash just before the lunch break, in the end he was quite satisfied. The word is up to him.

“I'm happy to have started working on the development of the GP11 again. Today we tried several things to confirm the choices we had made in the previous session. Work continued as scheduled except for a crash on the first corner towards the middle of the session. They were the hottest hours of the day, I lost the front and slipped, without any consequences either for me or for the bike, also because I was going really very slowly. Today we had less "chattering" compared to the session at the beginning of February and this is a positive thing. The goal is to eliminate it completely while at the same time finding more traction to reduce the gap to the leaders. We have plenty to keep us busy between now and the end of the tests.”
