MotoGP – Losail Test Day 1 – Valentino Rossi: "We hope for good weather tomorrow"

First day of night testing at Losail wasted for Valentimo Rossi. The Yamaha rider from Pesaro completed only one lap with a very high time due to the rain. Rossi first waited to see if the situation could improve and then once he got onto the track he did just one lap. Obviously he hopes that there will be good weather tomorrow, especially in view of the 2009 world championship race, given that he hasn't achieved great results in previous years at Losail. He has the microphone.

“Five minutes of rain really gave us a lot of problems today. First we waited and then finally we decided to give it up. I hope we get back to normal tomorrow, because this was our worst race last year and we need time to see where we are and continue to improve with our new package.”
