MotoGP: Losail Test Day 1, Aleix Espargarò “It was a very positive day of work”

Aleix Espargarò took his Yamaha Open to the lead on the first day of MotoGP testing in Losail. Forward Racing rider #41 worked with the team to find the best set-up, completing 43 laps of the Qatar circuit. At the beginning he didn't start very well, but once he put the hard tire in front he found the same sensations as in Sepang. The word is up to him.

“It was a very positive day at work. I didn't start very fast, but when, an hour and a half before the end of the session, I put the hard tire on the front I managed to find the same sensations as in Sepang and go fast. The feeling is good with both the hard and soft tires and this gives me a lot of confidence ahead of the start of the season and the first races.”
