MotoGP Test IRTA Sepang Day 3 Movistar Yamaha – Very complicated last day of testing on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia for Maverick Vinales, who finished with the eighteenth time.
The Spaniard was unable to repeat the excellent performance of the second day which had allowed him to finish in the lead. Both yesterday and today Vinales took to the track with the new winged fairing, currently promoted with flying colours.
These are the words of Maverick Vinales: “Honestly, we worked quite well. Today was difficult. I don't know why we lost time, especially in the afternoon – in the morning it went quite well. However, we have been working hard, trying to improve, so now we need to check the data and see what we can improve in Buriram. I think the new fairing is very positive, because I felt an improvement in acceleration, we'll see. I believe that the Buriram circuit with its acceleration is the best place to test the hull. Ducati is at an excellent level. We are waiting for the Thailand test, but I think they will be leading the opening race of the season in Qatar."

the mistake was one and only one, blindly trusting the chronometric results obtained on the track by Vinales "who, coming from Suzuki, would have won even with my grandmother's grace" at the beginning of the 2017 season, not giving a damn about the opinion of an expert and super-winning like Valentino Rossi, who immediately declared that he had problems with the new chassis. given that Vinales was the fastest of everyone on the track, he continued along that line, only losing time... once the emphasis of the first meeting was over Maverick also went badly and the bike was still the same, nothing had changed apart from the tires which almost everyone had voted as the best. The season went as it did. The 2017 season ends and testing begins in November on Rossi's bike and Vinales is given to Zarco who, a bit like Maverick did at the beginning of last season, went very well declaring that it was even easier to ride. Everyone says like you, it was Rossi's fault! We arrive in January, more tests and Zarco he takes back the 2016 chassis because he no longer fits well with the 2017 one... here a doubt arises in my mind, are we sure that if they had listened to Valentino at the beginning of 2017 they wouldn't have already won the world championship with Vinales?. That's what I think, but when all is said and done, pointing fingers is too simple.
anyway yes we will laugh...and a lot, now I can't wait for this blessed world championship to start again which seems like something is missing without the racing
