MotoGP Test Brno: Pedrosa, “We have made some steps forward”
The Honda rider finished seventh fastest, but admits he didn't try to attack the time
IRTA MotoGP test Czech Republic Honda – Test session concluded positively for Dani Pedrosa, on the Brno circuit.
The author of yesterday's second position, despite finishing seventh fastest, says he is very satisfied with today's session. The Honda rider took advantage of the tests to try some electronic innovations as well as the new front forks. The Spaniard also tested the new tyres, which Michelin will bring from next year.
These are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “Today we worked a lot on several small details that we want to improve on our set-up, aiming to be more comfortable during the race weekend. We tried some mapping that tries to get better control over the throttle, as well as some different settings for the front fork. We have made some progress since the last time we worked in these areas, although we have more work to do. We tested some Michelin tires for future races. Track conditions were good and grip increased more and more throughout the day, but we didn't go for a weather attack, preferring to focus on our bike's setup. The team did a good job and overall it was a positive day.”
