MotoGP Test IRTA Brno – After the Czech Republic Grand Prix, won by Andrea Dovizioso, the teams stopped for a day of official testing on the Brno track.

Almost all the riders are on the track, with the notable absence being: Maverick Vinales who, after his fall on the first lap of the Czech GP, suffered a tear in his shoulder ligaments. The Spaniard thus misses the most important test day of the season, at least for the Iwata manufacturer, here in fact the debut of the new electronics is expected which should make it possible to bridge the gap from Honda and Ducati.

At 14.30pm Andrea Dovizioso was at the top of the timesheets, with a time of 1:55.517. The driver from Forlì precedes Johann Zarco and his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo, on the track with the new fairing already used by the #04 over the weekend.

The first Honda in the standings is that of Cal Crutchlow, about two tenths behind, but ahead of his brand mate Dani Pedrosa.

Sixth time for Valentino Rossi who, having taken to the track late in the morning, should already have the new electronics available. During the day he should also take to the track with a new fairing.

Behind the Pesaro rider Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Iannone. The Suzuki rider suffered a bad fall mid-morning. No serious consequences, just a bruised shoulder, but due to his pain his tests will not continue during the day.

Marc Marquez and Aleix Espargarò complete the top ten.

During the day, the drivers put down the same tires used yesterday, plus a new front medium. It is the new profile, already tested in the Barcelona tests, and has a different structure, an evolution of the current one, which should allow for greater stability when braking and cornering.

These are the times at 14.30pm
