MotoGP Test Brno Honda Repsol – Marc Marquez closed the day of official testing at the Brno circuit with the first time.

The Spaniard, world championship leader, after Sunday's podium at the Czech GP, carried out comparative work with a lot of material during the day. He started the day with the same bike used in the race, then switched to a 'hybrid' version, with a different seat support frame and then concluded with what appears to be a 'new' bike. It is not the first time that the Spaniard has used this bike, he had in fact already made an appearance during the last private tests. It is not yet clear whether this is next year's bike or an evolution of the current one.

These are the words of Marc Marquez: “Today was positive and I'm very happy because we did a lot of laps with a good feeling right from the start of the test. We started early this morning and continued until the evening with a new thing to try on every outing. It's difficult when you have such a demanding programme, but Honda is working hard and that is a great motivation for a rider. We did a great job in testing and tried everything they brought. Michelin is also working hard towards the future and has brought a new front tire to try. Honestly it didn't work as we hoped, but it's very good for us to see how hard they work to always try to improve, and they certainly gathered some useful information today. As usual, towards the end of the day, we put all the best things together and set a good lap time. The fastest lap wasn't the main objective, it was more important to work for the next races. In the end we found several positive things and we will use something in the next race. I'm happy with the direction we're taking and the work we're doing."
