Andrea Dovizioso closes the Barcelona test with the best time, lapping with his Monster Tech 3 team Yamaha in 1.41.997. The Forlì native is the only one to drop below the 42 mark. In the 42 laps done, the former Honda rider tested new electronics which immediately helped him and then the Yamaha men made him try the new engine too that they are developing in Japan, to also have your opinion.

“Today was a very positive day – said Dovizioso – we lost some time this morning while the track was drying. Being the fastest in the test means that we have once again demonstrated our full potential. Now I'm starting to feel really confident and comfortable on the bike. Yamaha gave us a new engine to try today and I gave my opinion to help the future developments of this engine. The most positive aspect of the day, however, concerns the electronics. She didn't just help me for one lap, but he manages to improve tire life and this is really important for us. We have also made progress regarding the set-up of the bike compared to the race and now I can't wait to do the Aragon test. I've never done well there, so I'm curious to see how I'll go with my M1. I can't wait to confirm the results of the race and this test”

I'm starting to think that Dovizioso is one of those riders who know how to direct the technicians well.
Yamaha listens to him, Honda which no longer has it is in a bit of difficulty (due to the new tyres). Coincidences?

Dovi is a great test rider/rider, in this he is very similar to Valentino... Let's not forget that Honda itself declared that losing Dovi meant taking a big step backwards from the point of view of preparing the bike for the Championship...

If Honda dominated the championship last year, much of the credit goes to Dovi...

Luckily people are starting to realize Dovi's virtuosity. With Honda he would have deserved more, but he remained faithful for years... With Aprilia, in my opinion, he would have won the title.

Ok everything, but in Honda it seemed to have a blockage.. it was almost always the slowest... well...-.-

in honda he was always slower the times he went faster than pedrosa was when pedrosa wasn't racing last year...
then as no one there is a bastard he also needs the motorbike and it is clear that he likes this Yamaha better
especially since Honda now doesn't have the bike and the new tires have caused other problems... as for those who say that it is Honda that decides the regulations, it seems to me to be proof that it is not the one that decides...
Anyway, going back to where I am, I am of the opinion that if by mistake he starts to go faster than Lorenzo... his bike will mysteriously drop in performance

I'm sorry but Dovi is not a winner....he is a good rider but he lacks that "little bit" that a champion needs...it was also seen when he was in HRC...some flashes but nothing sensational

In Honda many times he didn't have the same updates as Pedrosa and Stoner.... They arrived to him after a few races…. His was a Sic motorbike, but with HRC colours...

Considering the fact that Honda has never really focused on him, and that, from the way he rides the bike, his style is much more similar to Yamaha's...

Of course, perhaps he's not one of those phenomena that emerges immediately, but I would still put him in the Top 5...

It would be nice if next year the Yamaha factory team was Vale/Dovi...

If perhaps you write: Who told you—do the Italian a favor, little goat….
These are statements that have been made, and for your information I have done 5 years of world championship racing, following it all over the world….
For WORK, not for fun… So if you'll excuse me, I understand A LOT but Much more than you….
Furthermore, I still have several connections in that World, my dear know-it-all….

Don't WRITE (we're not talking, if you hear my voice you have big problems...) just for the sake of writing...

        Who are you?!?… Take….
