Marc Marquez closed the Aragon test today. The Honda rookie completed 60 laps on the 2013 bike and as written in the previous news he also had the opportunity to test the 213 Honda RC2014V prototype. At the end of the day he said he was satisfied with the work done on the 2013 bike, where he tested some new features from Ohlins and a new tire from Bridgestone. The comment on the new bike was also positive, which however he will not use, at least in the next races. The word is up to him.

“This was a positive test in Aragon, one of my favorite circuits and I learned a lot in these two days; at the beginning I struggled a lot in the long corners but together with my team we progressed and today I managed to ride well, with a good pace. I tried many things and on each ride we had a different setting! Now I understand a lot more about the bike than at the beginning of the season and after a few laps I am able to understand if we have a good setting or not. Yesterday I focused on the next GP and setting up the bike. Then today I tried new parts, some pieces from Ohlins and also a new tire from Bridgestone. I was also able to complete 13 laps on the 213 RC2014V prototype. The first feeling was quite good and the engine seems better. There has also been an improvement at chassis level, but there are also some areas to work on. However, this is a very good basis for the HRC engineers, but at the moment I prefer the 2013 bike.”
