MotoGP, Aragon Test: Andrea Dovizioso “I can't wait to try the new electronics at Silverstone”

Andrea Dovizioso ended the Aragon test in 4th place, 7 tenths behind Lorenzo. The driver from Forlì leaves the Spanish track very happy, because even here in Aragon the new electronics confirmed the positive things he had seen on Monday in the Barcelona test: with this control unit the tires last longer. Now Andrea can't wait to try it in the next race at Silverstone.

“It was a very positive week for me – Dovizioso said – and I go home very tired after so much time spent on the track, but also very happy. After the good race and the test day in Catalunya it was important to understand our level here in Aragon. I've never been fast at this track in the past, but today I was very fast and consistent and Now I have a great feeling with the Yamaha: it's nice to ride this bike. The Yamaha's strengths, such as braking and corner entry, are perfect for this track, as well when we return for the race I'm sure I will be very competitive. Here we were able to confirm the improvement from the electronics and I can't wait to use them next week at Silverstone. The upgrade gives me better control on used tires and the tire life is also longer, so this will be a good advantage for the race.”
