Scott Redding failed to secure the Moto2 class title this year, despite leading the championship for a long time. However, at the end of the season he suffered two serious injuries, which paved the way for Pol Espargarò. Next year he will be riding the Honda RCV1000R Open of Team Gresini, which he had the opportunity to "taste" in the post-GP tests in Valencia.

“I'm disappointed not to have achieved the title this year, but to win everything needs to go right – Scott Redding told the official MotoGP website – Now, I can't wait to race in MotoGP, the championship hardest in the world. Obviously I don't expect to be World Champion in the first year, it would be an impossible dream, but I want to be the best rider with non-Factory bikes (the so-called Open ones). I have a great team around me and a great bike, the Honda RCV1000R and I feel I'm up for the challenge.”

The biggest problem is the suspension. Showa is too far behind Ohlins, now that Honda has discarded them even in Open moto, there are too few bikes that fit them (Bautista and Redding). This year Bautista's bike was very unstable... and it wasn't due to the riding .not to mention the crash with the 2014 bike, which occurred due to an anomaly in the forks if I understand correctly, there are only 2 bikes to be able to develop the material...
