MotoGP – Sachsenring QP1 – Troy Bayliss: "I'm very disappointed"

Troy Bayliss concluded qualifying for the German GP which will take place tomorrow on the Sachsenring circuit with the 16th time. The Australian driver of Team Pons cannot explain the afternoon's debacle also because in all the free practice sessions he had always been among the top seven, eight riders.

“Honestly, I'm struggling a bit to find the words to describe these qualifying sessions, because after having lapped for three rounds always in the top seven, eight at most, today I expected to do significantly better than the sixth row. However, this afternoon I had a small problem with the front brake, it gave me a slightly different feeling but honestly I can't blame this. Unfortunately, throughout the session I didn't regain the confidence in the front of the bike like in recent days. With qualifying tires I only took just over a tenth off my time on race tyres, a ridiculous improvement. Now I'm very disappointed but I will continue to believe in it and give my best."
