“Today is my birthday, I gave myself a nice present!! I like this track, there are many similarities with Laguna Seca (where he won 2 races ago) even if it will be more difficult given that the track is not new for the other riders. The race will be very tough but I want to win, I will certainly try!!”

Sete Gibernau (2nd half – pictured)
“With the race tires I have a great pace while with the qualifying tires we have some problems up front; it's strange, we don't know why and we weren't able to take advantage of the soft tyres.”

“It was a strange fall, I didn't really understand what happened. I miss the feeling with the front. Yesterday I fell twice and again today I lost grip on the front end. Tomorrow we will try something different.”
