MotoGP Rio Hondo: Aleix Espargarò “The goal for the race is the Top Five”

Alex Espargaro, Forward Racing rider, took his Yamaha to the second row in the Grand Prix of the Argentine Republic. On the Termas De Rio circuit Hondo repeated Austin's fourth fastest time, booking himself for a leading race. Here's what the 2013 CRT champion had to say.

“I'm really happy with how this day of qualifying went: we worked well and I have an excellent pace ahead of the race. The feeling with the hard tire is positive and being able to cross the finish line in the top five tomorrow is achievable. I wasn't too bad with the soft tire, but I wasn't able to push as I would have liked. It's a shame because, like in Austin, I lost the front row by just over a tenth, but I'm confident for tomorrow's race. The goal is to finish in the top five and get as close as possible to the podium.”
