Alex de Angelis is confident in view of the next and final race of the 2008 MotoGP world championship which will be held on the Spanish circuit of Valencia, despite the fact that at the beginning of his career he was unable to go fast on the Spanish circuit. The San Marino rider of Team Honda San Carlo Gresini would like to end the season with a good result, above all to give satisfaction to his current technicians who will no longer follow the former 250 class rider next year.

“At the beginning of my career I was never able to interpret the Valencia circuit well, but in recent years the situation has changed and I have always gone very fast, even winning the 250 cc race in 2006. It is a track where the engine it's not fundamental, as there are few restarts from low speeds, and above all it's very similar to those where I achieved good results this year, so I'm confident. I would like to end the season in a positive way to leave a good memory for my technical staff, given that the team has opted for some changes and consequently I will be working with a new staff for me.”
