The world championship riders immediately return to the track on the Misano Adriatico circuit for the thirteenth race of the 2009 season. The world championship then returns to Europe after the US stint in Indianapolis. Home race therefore for all the Italian riders and in particular for the Romagna riders, above all Valentino Rossi. We arrive with the Pesaro leader of the world rankings, with a 25 point advantage over team-mate Jorge Lorenzo (winner last Sunday in Indianapolis). Last year the race was characterized by the victory of Valentino Rossi (the 68th success in the top class) and the simultaneous fall of Casey Stoner, Rossi practically won the world championship already in Misano. All the Italian riders but also Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Hayden will therefore be driven by the desire to do well on a track with a very passionate audience. The GP will be broadcast on Italia1 and on digital terrestrial Mediaset and the times will return to the usual ones with the MotoGP starting at 14pm on Sunday. As always, Guido Meda and Loris Reggiani will be in the control room on Italia 1 while Alberto Porta and Paolo Beltramo will 'act' from the box. Below are the Italian timetables.
