“Sepang will be another important weekend for us”, so summarizes Loris Capirossi. “Everyone talks about the title race, but I prefer not to. What I can say is that I will try to do my best for all five races ahead of us and then we'll see what happens. Like Brno, Sepang is also a track that is very suitable for our bike and the Bridgestones. Last year I was on pole and I won the race, I hope to do it again this time! Plus I love that track, wide and fast: it's nice to go around it and have some good battles. Sure, it's a bit hot, but I don't mind riding in those conditions, I train for that too. In Sepang it is essential to find the tires best suited to the race, because on the track they have a hard life due to the temperatures and the layout itself, which puts a lot of stress on them: we will have to get to work immediately with the Bridgestone technicians. The next few months will be busy for everyone in the team and I am already excited for 2007. I will still be with Ducati and I have already tested the GP7. I liked the bike, it's fun and has a great sound: obviously there will be a lot of work to do but I really think we'll have fun"
