Alex De Angelis arrives in Sepang with the intention of canceling the Phillip Island race, a race in which he didn't even finish the first lap due to a fall. The San Marino rider who made his debut in the MotoGP class this year would like to achieve good results in these last two races remaining before the end of the season. Coem said he will already try from Sepang even if the two long straights certainly won't help his RC212V customer version. The word is up to him.

“The Sepang track represents another difficult challenge for us, presenting two long straights where power plays a fundamental role. Furthermore, during the tests carried out last winter we experienced several chattering problems. In any case, during the season we had the opportunity to work on the bike's set-up and on the Bridgestone tyres, so I am convinced that the situation has significantly improved compared to the winter tests. In Malaysia I have always been strong with the 250 cc, obtaining several podiums: I can do well this year too with the MotoGP, because in the frequent guided and technical sections we have the potential to have our say. I would like to get some good results in these last two races to end my debut season on a positive note: the starting position behind the grid, combined with a bit of bad luck, has often penalized us. However, I am happy with how I am performing in practice every race weekend, always proving to be fast.”
