MotoGP – Preview Misano – Loris Capirossi: "I'd like to get on the podium"

Loris Capirossi arrives at Misano with the intention of giving his all in his home GP. The Suzuki rider, fresh from seventh place in Indianapolis, is confident given the progress made with the new chassis. The same is yet to be "discovered" and the former Ducati rider hopes to do just that in Misano. The word is up to him.

“I'm really excited to go to Italy for my home GP. Misano is a beautiful place and I really like the circuit. I will have a lot of friends and family there and for sure the Italian fans will definitely be able to give me a lot of support. I have been fifth and seventh here in the last two years and I would like to get on the podium this time, especially because it is in Italy and I will give my all to achieve this goal. We have made great strides with the chassis in Indianapolis and I will have a good starting point on Friday; we don't know the full potential yet, but we will definitely try to discover it in Misano!”
