MotoGP – Preview Misano – The circuitMotoGP – Preview Misano – The circuit

Misano Adriatico was built at the beginning of the seventies and was then subjected to a series of modifications over the years which affected both the length of the track, which went from the original 3,488 kilometers to the current 4,226, both its conformation and the pit and paddock structures. It is truly the home track of most of the Italian riders who race in the MotoGP because almost all of them are originally from this part of Italy. The current layout, whose direction of travel was reversed from anticlockwise to clockwise in 2007, when MotoGP returned after 16 years of absence, is only apparently simple. In reality it is very technical, generally slow, with tight curves characterized by a very small radius, except for the famous "Curvone", a fast and demanding right-hand bend.
