MotoGP – Preview Misano – Andrea Dovizioso on track with the Öhlins

Andrea Dovizioso, rider of the Repsol Honda Team, will use Ohlins suspension on his factory RC212V in the San Marino GP which will take place this weekend in Misano and also for the rest of the 2009 season. The decision to change supplier follows the Brno test mid-August. Showa has kindly given its consent to this option, which is part of HRC's ongoing development plan for the RC212V.

Pedrosa will instead continue to race with Showa suspension, which he has used with considerable success since his MotoGP debut in 2006, including seven premier class victories, the latest of which was at Laguna Seca. The Spaniard decided to continue like this also due to the rain that fell during the Brno tests, rain which did not allow him to thoroughly test the Swedish suspensions.
