MotoGP – Preview Estoril – Vermeulen can't wait to get back on the bike
Chris Vermeulen can't wait to get back on track for the third round of the 2008 world championship which will take place next Sunday on the Estoril track. The Australian Suzuki rider is in fact convinced that he can improve his results, also in light of what he achieved in the post-GP tests in Jerez de la Frontera. In fact, in the first two races the former SBK rider didn't go well (for him a seventeenth place in Losail and a tenth in Jerez de la Frontera) and therefore hopes to reverse the trend. He has the microphone.
“We have certainly made some progress in testing since the Jerez race. We worked hard on the tires and learned a lot from the test which will help us in the future. I can't wait to get back on the bike and start getting the results I expect. We had a difficult moment in Estoril last year, so we will try to find a good setup straight away to be able to get back to the front!”
