Casey Stoner can't wait to get back on track this weekend in Estoril to forget the Jerez race, the race where he was hit and "knocked down" by Valentino Rossi. The Australian rider boasts a good record on this circuit with 3 podiums including two victories in the 250cc even if the track is not one of his favourites. The word is up to him.

“I spent this period in Switzerland, where I rested. I feel very good and I'm happy to race in Portugal, after the difficult race in Jerez. We thought we would get a good result in Spain after the excellent testing and qualifying, so I can't wait to get back on track. Estoril is not one of my favorite circuits, but we have achieved some good results in the past. We will try to recover points from Lorenzo who, in the last three years, has been the strongest rider on this track. I think our bike works quite well on this circuit, which has tight corners followed by long straights: I hope to be able to exploit the traction in these points and be competitive from day one.”
