MotoGP 2020 – As expected for weeks now, the Spanish GP which should have been held next May has also been postponed to a later date, due to the continuous evolution of the coronavirus.

In Qatar only the Moto3 and Moto2 classes that were present on site had raced given that they had held the tests, while subsequently the GPs of Thailand, Austin, Argentina and now that of Spain were postponed.

“The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sport announce the postponement of the Red Bull Gran Premio de España, previously scheduled from 1st to 3rd May in the “Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto”. Given the forced pause generated by the coronavirus pandemic, the new date of the event has not yet been defined. Since the situation is constantly evolving, the new date of the Spanish Grand Prix will be confirmed as soon as it is possible to establish the exact days during which the event will take place. The updated calendar will be published as soon as it is available."
