Casey Stoner – Ducati – Winner
“I was in the best condition for a couple of years from a physical point of view and I'm finally well. I have to thank the Team and everyone, also for the beauty of the bike which was reminiscent of Australia. Winning here at home is a dream!! We kept a reasonable pace with Rossi. At the beginning I was trying to understand the pace to keep, then I slowed down but kept an advantage. I had a couple of problems with the seagulls which made me slow down, then I picked up the pace and won.”

Valentino Rossi – Yamaha – 2nd place – in the photo
“I'm very happy about the championship, we're now 38 points ahead. I was fine and tried to win until the end. It was the most fun second place of my career, a “madonna” fight. Stoner was a little faster than me, he had a great race. He slowed down halfway through the race then started pushing again, that's fine, these are 20 fundamental points."

Dani Pedrosa – Honda – 3rd place
“I tried to do my best and this is the result. I couldn't go faster, they went faster. After yesterday's crash it's a good podium but too far from the leaders.”

Casey's physical condition was noticed... He drove very well, it was a spectacle... :)
Great Valentino.. And in my opinion if Lorenzo had been in front a few tenths of a second would have popped out of the magic cylinder. Nice race and important points, like in the 250

Well I would say that Vale didn't even try to win!!! since he put the wheel on the white curb he said I don't risk anything!!! But that's okay, the important thing is to confirm yourself as WORLD CHAMPIONS!!! WORTH GO!!!
