Jorge Lorenzo achieved the third fastest time in qualifying at Phillip Island and will therefore start from the front row of the Australian Grand Prix, which will take place tomorrow when it is 07:00 in Italy. The four-time world champion achieved a better result than his rivals who are fighting with him for second place in the championship. Dani Pedrosa will in fact start from the second row, while Valentino Rossi from the third. He has the microphone

“I'm happy because it's always good to be on the front row. Obviously I would have liked to be on pole position, but my lap wasn't fast enough. Being on the front row is always good and having Rossi and Pedrosa on the second and third row is really good. During Q1 I was a bit nervous because from the garage I saw a few drops of rain and no one likes driving in those conditions, but we were lucky. The rain stopped falling just before Q2 and we were able to have a normal session and push hard. There are still some corners where I'm not quite happy with the set up of the bike. We will try to change some things for the warm-up.”
