MotoGP Phillip Island: Dani Pedrosa “I don't think flag to flag is the best solution”
The Spanish driver doesn't like the race direction's solution to remedy the Brdigestone problems
Dani Pedrosa achieved only the fifth fastest time in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix today. The Honda rider doesn't make excuses, the others simply went faster with the qualifying tyres. Speaking of tyres, tomorrow for the first time we will see a flag to flag race but in dry conditions. In short, to overcome the Bridgestone tire problems, the race direction decided to divide the race in two, making a pit stop mandatory on the thirteenth lap.
“I have no excuses, qualifying didn't go well for us and I wasn't able to go fast. However, the testing sessions were very positive for us. We just heard from management that we will be doing a 26-lap flag-to-flag race tomorrow. I don't think this is the best solution, but this is the scenario and we will do our best to be ready."

In my opinion, Honda has the advantage of flag to flag :)
