MotoGP Phillip Island: Cal Crutchlow “In MotoGP there are fantastic riders and bikes, going on the podium is a great satisfaction”
The Briton finished in 3rd place, obtaining his second podium in MotoGP
Cal Crutchlow closes the Phillip Island race in 3rd place e returns to the podium. For the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team rider it is his second podium in MotoGP after the one achieved at the end of the summer in Brno and it arrives at just the right time, after two zeros that had hurt the morale of the combative British rider. His race was quite calm, in fact this time Cal didn't have to fight with his team-mate Dovizioso or other rivals to defend the position: he got behind the leading duo in the first laps and the others never managed to worry him too much.
“In the categories I raced in before MotoGP I was used to winning – Crutchlow said to SportMediaset – but being on the podium here is wonderful. It's been a great season and I hope to be able to fight for the podium in Valencia too. There are fantastic bikes and fantastic riders, now I would like to confirm myself in the last race too but I already know that it will be difficult to fight especially with the official riders. Then there will be the Spaniards who will be particularly aggressive"

And so he thanks heaven for remaining in Yamaha, Cal, albeit a satellite.
Thinks. If you really went to Ducati you risked finding yourself fighting with the CRTs next year, like Barberà and Abrham!
