Fourth position for Andrea Dovizioso, who closed his penultimate race with Yamaha close to the podium. Today his teammate was faster and Andrea preferred not to take too many risks and abandon the fight for the podium. The result was a battle until the checkered flag with Bautista and Bradl, from which he emerged victorious. The word is up to him

“I knew it would be a tough race because I didn't have the same pace as Cal. All I could do during the first laps was pass him or put him under pressure but it wasn't possible.
He was riding very well and I decided that the best strategy was to not take too many risks. The battle with Bradl and Bautista was very exciting and I had a lot of fun. I'm sure the fans appreciated it too because we pushed and exchanged positions throughout the race.
I'm satisfied with finishing first in the group and it was a tough fight until the checkered flag. Valencia will be my last race with the Monster Yamaha Team Tech3, I will arrive there with great motivation and determined to collect a good result to end our collaboration in a positive way."

WHICH WOULD BE EQUAL TO SAYING THAT HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET PREZIOSI TO DO WHAT VALENTINO HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET HIM TO DO

    Ah ah ah ah ah
He's already training to race in Tucadi next year!
    Well done, scrupulous boy...

W_IL_SIC IN MY ACCORDING TO ME IF DOVI CAN AT MOST GET 4TH PLACE IN YAMAHA, IN DUCATI IF HE CATCHES 8TH HE'LL GO BETTER.

eehhhhhhhhh, yes yes, but he wanted the official team!!!

8th with "that" bike is (almost) certain, as long as the CRTs don't grow a bit more, then we'll see some good ones!

If you don't take risks with Yamaha under your butt next year with Ducati what will you do? Mediocre rider who was also irritated because they didn't put him alongside Lorenzo... they're not idiots at the Yamahafactory!

    1. W_il_Sic said:

Well, then it means that - for the transitive property - they are (idiot) to Tucadi since they gave them the official motorbike!

I could also share this thought, but don't let one of the 5 "master" members of this blog hear from you, (Mugello) he has two Tucads in his garage and as soon as you dare to say something wrong about the Bolognese company he will strike you down!
      ;-)

W_il_Sic he was hoping for the YAMAHA official bike, having the TUCADI as you say is official for him will mean the end of his career (mediocre until now). ALMOST ALMOST BUT perhaps on the one hand it's better for him, he'll do as HAYDEN did, that is, he'll join that group of riders who race, win their grand prix, get money, have fun, have the alibi of the motorbike and off you go.

However, I would have some doubts about the fact that Hayden is "having fun"...

maxjalo & W_il_Sic I agree.. However, Hayden is a rider that I don't mind, a hard worker, few excuses and a lot of heart.. Honestly, given that he knows TUCADI well, I would send him to SBK with the Panigale.. at least he could get a result there.. What do you think?

        @ff52

I don't know, but two things are certain:

        1. SBK is much more fun than the current MGP, however it must be said that the level of values on the field, from a technical and technological point of view, is not the same.

        2. The MotoGP Ducati is not a bike that allows you to know the real value of the rider who races on it because riding it at a high level is impossible! Proven by facts.
That's why I wrote that I don't think Hayden (or anyone else) could really "have fun" on that bike.
Out of curiosity, go and re-read all of Hayden's comments at the end of any or all races on this bike, this year or any other year: you won't find a single one that is satisfying about his race. in relation to the motorbike…..

True.. in fact I follow it with much more interest (I even watch the superpole) unlike the MotoGP (only the race).. I even consider the Moto2 race more interesting.. There always remains that small hope that things will improve in the future, we will see..
I agree across the board, it's the parent company with the most bikes on the track and paradoxically it's also the one that wins the least... it says a lot about how the Ducati prototype "travels"..
